背景：穷孩子杰克并没有按照他母亲的吩咐把奶牛卖了，他已经一天没有吃东西了，而且家里再也没有吃的了。
译文：当杰克想起市场上所有的美妙食物，他的肚子饿得叽里咕嚕直响。他从来没有觉得这么饿过！
tummy = 肚子，[很常用的口语，tummy-ache 肚子痛]
rumble = 叽里咕嚕地响
think of = 想起
at the market = 市场

My tummy rumbled all morning as I did not have breakfast.
[tummy rummbles 是非常常用的说法，英国小孩从小就会。在中国，过了四级统考的大学生也不见得会用这两个单词来表达‘肚子饿’。当然会说 hungry 就够了。]
